Our plane ended up leaving later than scheduled, not because we were late, but because we had a very favorable tail wind and there’s a night ban in Switzerland so we couldn’t land before 6am. Good to know! The view…
My traveling to Vienna was very exhausting. The Polish train stations don’t say anything in english, therefore when I had to get my connection in a station that was undergoing reparations I very nearly missed it (even though I had taken an early train NOT to miss it). Lucky for me that the train was late! And then when I reached Vienna, I had troubles getting to my host’s place because of lack of advance preparation and finally, after an internet café and a scare later, I managed to get settled.
Warsaw, the most eastern city I’ll visit on this trip. Warsaw, the city that was completely rebuilt after the war. Warsaw, the city I visited on a holiday weekend and the city where you get 16 degrees on November the 1st. I will remember it dearly.
As a recap … if there’s nothing particular you want to see in Copenhagen, don’t bother. It’s not the most beautiful city and it’s very expensive. I don’t regret going there because I had a good time but it could be skipped 🙂
On Sunday morning we managed to get up early and were at the train station in time, but with the help of strangers we figured out there was a special training for bad winter weather going on. So we had to take two trains instead of our usual one to get to Amsterdam and then another two trains to get to Breda.
